Readers who are familiar with Medford Leas today find it hard to believe that in the early days, meetings and performances were held in the area that now houses the Library and the Lounge.<\/p>\n

Everyone who lives on the Medford campus is familiar with Bob Wasson, today\u2019s letter carrier. In the \u201870s, the regular carrier for Medford Leas was a woman, and her vehicle doesn\u2019t compare with the one Bob drives. When Bob first started working for the Medford Post Office, he was the Tuesday substitute for this lady.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

One of Medford Leas\u2019 earliest employees was Doris Wallace, who started work here in 1971 assisting her mother-in-law in housekeeping. Today, Doris is Director of Environmental Services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
