Here’s a story of the week that was.

On Wednesday, October 19, the Medford Leas Singers performed for 175 residents from 20 New Jersey CCRCs. But on Wednesdays Chris Bass, our amazing conductor who leads the women’s chorus at Temple University, can’t be with us. To perform without Chris is like working without a net.

A Newcomer’s Perspective

“All right, everyone, let’s jog to the end of the pool and back,” commands Ann Naulty, Lumberton resident and volunteer pool exercise leader. The group breaks into an awkward trot, some faster, some slower. “When you get to the wall, jog backwards!” Ann directs, and we reverse the process. There is much laughter and an occasional collision as we get ready for an hour of low impact, high energy fitness with our friends.
